Who is Driving YOUR Vehicle?

Is everyone that drives your vehicle listed on your policy? If not, coverage could be denied at the time of a claim. Anyone who operates your vehicle should be listed on your policy regardless of whether or not they are a household member.

If an operator has their own Massachusetts personal auto policy, listing them will usually not increase your auto insurance premium.

If they do not have a Massachusetts personal auto policy of their own, they could impact your premium depending on their driving record and years of experience. Even a small charge in premium is better than paying for a claim out-of-pocket.

Also, remember to notify your agent when the operating status changes for students returning or leaving home for college.

Whoever you have driving your vehicle, be sure to list them on your auto policy. To be sure you are covered correctly, call Protector Group Insurance with any questions at 1-888-850-9400.
